Students will begin a week long, independent major project. They will have all class periods this week to work on this project. It will be due on Monday, November 5th.

Monday: Quiz on Cybersecurity vocabulary
Tuesday - Thursday: We will start a small programming unit using a block based languge from UC Berkeley. Each student will work through Labs 1 - 3 at his/her own pace. Mrs. Whitlock will check off completed labs in class. Once the three labs are completed, students will be given a larger programming project. Details released when the labs are completed. Friday: Live Coding Quiz: Students will be asked to complete a live coding task in class that will incorporate coding skills from Labs 1 - 3. Monday: Intro to cybersecurity threats and students begin cybersecurity project.
Tuesday: Team project on Business client recruitment should be uploaded to the team websites by the beginning of class. Remaining time to work on cybersecurity project. Wednesday: Cybersecurity projects should be submitted via Google Classroom by the beginning of class. Monday: No school. Enjoy! Tuesday: Students will take the 30 sec musical intro that they developed last week for the business client and turn that into a recruitment digital artifact for the company. Details are on the lesson plans. Wednesday: PSAT day. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 Thursday and Friday: I am in a county meeting both days. Students will be working on a cybersecurity & cryptography packet in class. |
